Singer jo0ji thrills Taiwan fans with anime-themed performance, prompting solo concert requests

Japanese singer-songwriter jo0ji electrified the crowd at the Central Music & Entertainment Festival held at Zepp New Taipei on August 8. The 26-year-old artist, hailing from Tottori Prefecture, kicked off the festival with a high-energy performance that included shouts of "YBSG" and a "Bankai!" (卍解) declaration before launching into a song from the anime "Bleach."

Making his second appearance in Taiwan, jo0ji expressed his excitement, stating, "Although this is my second time in Taiwan, I am truly happy today, thank you everyone! Last time I was invited to perform at Megaport (Megaport Festival), and today I plan to bring an even more passionate atmosphere than Megaport and rock the house before I go back. Please have fun with me until the end!"

jo0ji treated the audience to eight songs, opening with "Yoake no Uta" (Song of Dawn), the ending theme for "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie," which evoked scenes from the anime. He also performed "I-BULL," the opening theme for "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Separation," after engaging the audience by asking if they knew "Bleach" and "Bankai."

Following his performance, fans took to social media platform Threads, enthusiastically requesting that jo0ji hold a dedicated solo concert in Taiwan. His charismatic stage presence and connection with the audience, including interactions in Mandarin, left a strong impression, with many hoping for a return engagement.
