Singer Lee Juck Takes New Creative Director Role at Tunghai University

Lee Juck has found a new way to stay in education. The singer, who moved to Taichung years ago, has become creative director at Tunghai University’s Office of Industry Promotion and Lifelong Learning.

Lee revealed in July that he had ended one education-related role. When friends asked what he planned to do next, he said he had not left education, but wanted to continue pursuing the work he had enjoyed for most of his life in a different way.

I have not left education. I just hope to continue doing what I like most, something I have done for most of my life, in a different way.

On Sept. 1, he shared a new business card announcing his university position. Fans responded with congratulatory messages, while radio host Wang Chieh-an also sent his greetings after receiving one of Lee’s new ideas.

How can we make learning more interesting? How can we help people grow faster and with greater strength?

Lee’s career has ranged from business management and corporate training to early-childhood education, emotional-intelligence education, parenting education, and recent work involving artificial intelligence and education technology. He has said he wants to make learning more engaging and help people grow faster and with greater strength.

He now describes his strength as combining music, English, emotional intelligence, life education, and education technology into learning experiences that are warm and interactive. He hopes the new role will lead to more opportunities for collaboration.
