A banner at the site references two SEMARNAT authorizations, identified by specific official notices, but residents demand to know the content of the MIA and confirmation that its conditions are being met.

Concerns extend to the state government and the Hunucmá City Council, with residents demanding clarity on whether they approved permits for this project. The construction's advancement in the El Palmar State Reserve has prompted a strong reaction from the local population, who are seeking transparency and accountability regarding environmental protection in the sensitive area.
