Sisters share Pearls dream

Representing Fiji together has made this Fiji Pearls campaign especially meaningful for Nanise Waqaira. The national representative shared her pride in seeing her younger sister, Eseta Waqaira, secure an opportunity within the Pearls environment.

"I'm really proud because she's my younger sister and coming from my family, we're pretty much the only ones that have reached that stage and that environment," Nanise stated. The sisters are now sharing the experience of representing their family and community on the national stage.

Waqaira emphasized that wearing the national colors side-by-side is a cherished moment for their family. "It's a really proud moment having to do it with your sister and I'm just looking forward to playing more with her," she added.

The Waqaira sisters are currently part of the Fiji Pearls squad as preparations intensify for the upcoming qualifiers.
