Six Injured as Family Vehicle Overturns After Wedding in Turkey

A family's journey home from a wedding turned into a near-tragedy on the Gercüş bypass road in Batman, Turkey, when their light commercial vehicle overturned late at night.

The driver of the vehicle, identified only as male, reportedly lost control, leading to the vehicle flipping over. The exact cause of the loss of control remains under investigation.

Emergency services, including medical teams, firefighters, and police, were dispatched to the scene following the incident. The crash resulted in six injuries. Among those hurt were individuals aged 11, 16, and 18, along with a 62-year-old named S.A. Two other individuals' identities have not yet been released.

All injured parties were initially taken to Gercüş State Hospital. Following initial medical assessments, they were subsequently transferred to Batman Education and Research Hospital for further treatment. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
