Six injured in serious car crash in Romania's Vaslui County

A severe traffic accident on Saturday afternoon on national road DN24D near Odaia Bursucani in Vaslui County, Romania, left six people injured. The collision involved two cars, and one individual required extrication by emergency services after becoming trapped in their vehicle.

According to the Vaslui County Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU), a specialized unit equipped for rescue operations, an emergency medical assistance vehicle, and three ambulances from the County Ambulance Service responded to the scene. Five of the individuals involved managed to evacuate their vehicles before the arrival of emergency crews, but the sixth person needed assistance.

All six injured individuals received medical evaluation at the scene. Four of them were subsequently transported to the hospital for further examination and treatment. Firefighters also took measures to prevent any potential fires in the accident area. The local traffic police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
