Skechers D'LITES celebrates 20th anniversary with classic return and modern updates

Skechers is marking the 20th anniversary of its iconic D'LITES "dad shoe" line by revisiting its classic roots while introducing updated designs. The brand has tapped SHUHUA, a member of the popular K-pop group (G)I-DLE, as its ambassador to showcase the "Return of a Classic" theme through both elegant retro and edgy street-style aesthetics.

Since its debut in 2006, the D'LITES line has been a signature Skechers product, recognized for its chunky silhouette and comfortable feel. The shoes were once a favorite among pop music icons like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. This year, Skechers is launching a 20th-anniversary limited edition series alongside the new D'LITES 6.0 collection for women, aiming to reinterpret the classic design with contemporary updates.

The D'LITES 20th Anniversary Limited Series features the signature thick soles and comes in versatile colors like pearl white and star black. These anniversary models incorporate details such as lace mesh, mixed materials, 3D bows, and metallic charms, creating a vintage yet elegant look that aligns with the recent trend of "accessorized" fashion.

In parallel, the new D'LITES 6.0 line retains the beloved platform DNA but offers a more streamlined profile. These shoes integrate Skechers' Slip-ins® technology for easy wear, Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insoles for enhanced breathability, and an ARCH TPU stability structure. This combination aims to provide comfort, support, and a lightweight feel, suitable for various outfits from denim to dresses, allowing for a seamless transition between sweet and cool styles. Skechers is also hosting a "Create Your Style D'LITES" workshop, offering customers a chance to design their own Y2K-inspired footwear.
