Skoda Reveals First Sketches of New Electric Peaq SUV

Skoda Auto has offered a first glimpse of its upcoming all-electric seven-seater SUV, the Peaq, through newly released exterior design sketches. The vehicle embodies Skoda's 'Modern Solid' design language, aiming for a confident and timeless presence.

Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Skoda Auto, explained that the Peaq's exterior design consistently applies the 'Modern Solid' principles. He highlighted the combination of clean lines, balanced proportions, and distinctive design elements. Neuhold noted that precisely sculpted surfaces and clearly structured details contribute to its assured aesthetic, while features like the T-shaped headlights and the 'Tech-Deck Face' signify Skoda's identity in the new electric era.

The front of the Peaq is characterized by slim, T-shaped headlights, a gloss-black 'Tech-Deck Face,' and a connecting element that forms a distinctive frame pattern. This design approach aims to create a unique visual signature for the electric SUV.

Mirroring the front's design philosophy, the rear of the Peaq also features T-shaped taillights and a connecting element, reinforcing the characteristic frame motif. These design elements collectively present a cohesive and modern look for Skoda's new electric offering.
