Skone Wins in Almería Ten Years Later, Secures Red Bull Batalla Return | ABC Color (PY)

Malaga's Skone has reclaimed his winning form, clinching the first regional championship of the 21st Red Bull Batalla season in Almería. This victory marks a significant return, as it comes a decade after his previous triumph in the same city. Skone, the 2016 international champion, has now earned a coveted spot in the National Final, scheduled for Tenerife in March 2027.

Alongside Skone, five other freestyle rappers, Nocre, Jesús LC, Vivi, NQP, and Segrelles, also qualified for the national competition. They will join the already-qualified Bnet (reigning national champion), Dani VK (runner-up), Alek, and Fabiuki in Tenerife. The event, held at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Aguadulce in Roquetas de Mar, attracted over 700 enthusiasts, signaling a vibrant start to the season.

The competition featured 32 participants engaging in intense one-on-one improvisation battles. Judges Noult, Elekipo, and Tirpa ultimately awarded the win to Skone after a closely contested final against Nocre. DJ Verse provided the music, with More Black Thais and Claudinho hosting the event, which showcased both established freestyle stars and emerging talent.

This Almería event is the first of two regional qualifiers for the national final. The next, and final, regional competition will take place in Zaragoza on July 18. Red Bull Batalla's National Final will be held in Tenerife on March 6, 2027, marking the first time the Canary Islands will host the prestigious event.
