Social Support: Who will receive 78,000 pesos in September and what they must do to keep the former Potenciar Trabajo benefit

The Social Support Program will continue paying 78,000 pesos a month in September 2026 to beneficiaries who remain active on the register. The benefit emerged from the division of the former Potenciar Trabajo program and targets households facing vulnerability.

The payment is non-remunerative and does not automatically increase with inflation. The program mainly covers people aged 50 or older who are in vulnerable situations, as well as women with four or more children under 18. It also includes some special cases. The register is not open for new enrollment, so people who are not currently included cannot apply simply by meeting one of those conditions.

The program’s continuation was extended by Resolution 90/2026 of the Ministry of Human Capital. The resolution set a 48-month period from the entry into force of the original measure, subject to budget availability. Beneficiaries do not need to enroll again or renew their registration.

ANSES will make the payment by bank transfer to the usual account listed for collection. Deposits for September are estimated to arrive between Friday, September 4, and Monday, September 7, although the exact date may differ by beneficiary. Unlike other ANSES benefits, the program has no general payment calendar organized by the final digit of the national identity document.

Recipients can check whether the payment has been processed through Mi ANSES, using their CUIL and Social Security password, under “My Payments.” They can also check Mi Argentina notifications. The situation is different for Volver al Trabajo beneficiaries: a new 78,000-peso payment has not been confirmed for September because the program’s scheduled period ended and court measures that had allowed payments to continue are no longer in force.
