Onyekwelu brings over a decade of experience as a political journalist, coupled with a background in Political Science and a doctorate in Development Studies.

His expertise extends to political communication and perception management, qualities that have earned him a reputation for intellectual depth and a calm demeanor. The appointment is widely seen as a significant addition to the governor's administrative team.
