“SOMA. Cuerpo e Impulso” exhibition to feature drawings and sketches by Nahuel Vera Von Lücken

The cultural space Casa Sigilos in Asunción's historic center will host the opening of “SOMA. Cuerpo e Impulso,” an exhibition by visual artist Nahuel Vera Von Lücken, on Friday, June 19. The exhibition, which will be open to the public with free access throughout June and into July, focuses on drawings and sketches that represent the human body and its expressions.

The collection delves into the emotions and internal impulses that drive the body to display various poses and gestures. Von Lücken utilizes color, line, and other visual techniques to explore these themes. The artist, born in Asunción but raised in Villarrica, maintains a deep connection to the latter city.

Von Lücken's artistic journey began in childhood with clay figures and tempera drawings, eventually leading to a professional career. After returning to Asunción, he pursued further studies and workshops at the Atelier Álvarez-Nuovo and the Instituto Superior de Artes Olga Blinder at the National University of Asunción. He has also participated in training programs with both Paraguayan and international artists, including those from the Repin Academy in St. Petersburg and the Florence Academy of Art in Italy.
