Some Hershey Kisses recalled in Canada due to undeclared almonds

Hershey Canada has initiated a Canada-wide recall for specific Hershey's Creamy Milk Chocolate Kisses products. The reason for the recall is the potential presence of undeclared almonds, posing a risk to consumers with allergies.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) stated that the affected products are being removed from the marketplace because they may contain almonds not listed on the product's label. Hershey Canada reported one instance of a reaction associated with the consumption of the product.

The recall specifically targets two package sizes: 104 grams and 200 grams. Both recalled batches share a best-before date of June 1, 2027. Hershey has provided details on various lot codes for the recalled items in a press release, and a comprehensive list is available on the CFIA's recall website.

Consumers are strongly advised to check their packaging for the recalled products. Individuals with a nut allergy or sensitivity should refrain from consuming these candies.
