Son Heung-min scores in 4th straight MLS game, matching personal best

South Korean football star Son Heung-min is on a scoring tear in Major League Soccer, netting his fourth consecutive goal in LA FC's recent match against Vancouver. This achievement ties his personal best for consecutive games with a goal in the MLS.

Son opened the scoring in the 37th minute of the away game, receiving a pass from Denis Bouanga in the penalty box. He then executed a right-footed turning shot into the net, demonstrating his clinical finishing ability.

This scoring run began after Son's return to MLS. He scored his first league goal of the season on May 18th in his first game back against LA Galaxy, following his participation in the World Cup where he did not score. He continued his streak with goals against Real Salt Lake on May 23rd (adding an assist) and against Kansas City on May 26th.

Including two goals in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Son has now scored six goals in official matches for LA FC this season. He will have an opportunity to set a new personal record by scoring in five consecutive league games when LA FC plays San Diego at home on June 16th.
