Son Heung-min has found his scoring touch in Major League Soccer, netting the opening goal just five minutes into LAFC's match against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday. This crucial strike marks his third consecutive game with a goal in the league, bringing his season total to five. The South Korean star's early goal set the tone for LAFC, who went on to secure a dominant 4-0 victory.

The win extended LAFC's current winning streak to four games and propelled them to second place in the Western Conference standings with 33 points. This scoring resurgence comes after a disappointing World Cup campaign where Son failed to score and South Korea was eliminated in the group stage. Since returning to his club after the tournament, Son has shown renewed attacking prowess, scoring in every league match he has played.
