Son of association head dies in tragic road accident

A tragic accident near Türközü village has claimed the life of 12-year-old Mehmet Furkan Saraçoğlu. The incident occurred around 4:30 PM when a motorcycle carrying Saraçoğlu and two friends collided with a car whose license plate and driver remain unidentified.

Emergency services, including health and gendarmerie teams, were dispatched to the scene. Despite their efforts, Mehmet Furkan Saraçoğlu was pronounced dead at the location. His two companions sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital, where their conditions were reported as stable.

Mehmet Furkan Saraçoğlu was identified as the son of Bülent Saraçoğlu, the president of the Ayvalık Körfez Yörükleri Association. The funeral service for the young victim is scheduled to take place today in the Karaayıt neighborhood of Ayvalık.

The accident has cast a shadow over the local community, particularly given the prominent role of the victim's father within the Ayvalık Körfez Yörükleri Association.
