South Korea Hosts International Sleep & Wellness Expo Amid Growing Market

Seoul's COEX Convention Center is hosting the "2026 Sleep & Wellness Festa" from July 30 to August 1, an event highlighting the rapidly growing sleep and wellness sectors. Co-hosted by Hankyoreh Newspaper and COEX, the exhibition aims to serve as a business platform connecting the sleep and healing industries.

The expo reflects the increasing importance of sleep as a future industry, extending beyond healthcare to encompass wellness, tourism, and lifestyle. It features a comprehensive display of sleep technology, medical products, healing tourism, and wellness services, bringing together domestic and international companies, experts, and buyers.

Exhibits are categorized into "Sleep Tech & Healthcare," "Sleep Medical Products & Services," and "Sleep Environment & Lifestyle." Visitors can explore wearable devices, AI-based sleep management solutions, digital therapeutics, hospital and sleep clinic services, functional foods, mattresses, bedding, and smart bedroom solutions, covering the entire spectrum of the sleep industry.

Notably, the event includes South Korea's first "Healing Tourism & Wellness Special Hall." This section will introduce various facets of the K-Wellness industry, including healing agriculture, forest and marine therapy, longevity care, mindfulness, meditation, sleep tech, and eco-friendly lifestyles. Business opportunities linked to government policies for fostering the healing tourism industry will also be presented.

The festival also features industry conferences. The first day focuses on the global sleep market and the future of sleep tech, with presentations from companies like Serta and the Japan Sleep Healthcare Association. The second day will explore healing industries, sleep therapy, and domestic industry development strategies, featuring insights from the Rural Development Administration and Daewon Pharmaceutical. A "Best Sleep Honey Sleep Concert" offering experiential programs is scheduled for the final day.
