South Korea’s U-18 baseball team arrives in Taiwan for title campaign

South Korea’s under-18 national baseball team has begun its push for gold after arriving in Taiwan for the 14th Asian Youth Baseball Championship.

The team, led by Deoksu High School coach Jung Yoon-jin, landed at Taoyuan Airport on the morning of the 5th. It held its first official training session that afternoon at a stadium in Taoyuan’s Pingzhen District, working for about two hours.

Temperatures in Taiwan were around 30 degrees Celsius during the session.
