South Korean Government and Institutions Announce Personnel Changes

South Korea's government and financial sectors are undergoing a series of personnel shifts, with key institutions announcing new appointments and promotions. The Constitutional Court has appointed new senior constitutional researchers and constitutional researchers, including Jo Kyung-sun as Chief of the Document Review Division.

The Ministry of Justice has seen several promotions to Grade 4, including Kim Dong-jin as Inspector General and Seo Yong-seung in the Correctional Policy Division. Numerous other positions within correctional facilities, probation services, and electronic monitoring centers have been filled or reassigned, with Kim Ji-soo appointed as Warden of the Busan Juvenile Correctional Institution and Ahn Gyu-yong as Warden of the Gwangju Juvenile Correctional Institution.

In the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, several director-level positions have been reassigned. Bae Seong-hee will head the Human Resources Division at the National Land Management Training Institute, while Kim Hee-seok will serve as Director of Regional Cooperation at the Daejeon Regional Construction and Management Office. Other appointments include infrastructure and safety roles.

The Ministry of Government Legislation has also announced appointments and transfers for its division chiefs and legal advisors. Park Myung-geum has been appointed as the head of the General Legal Interpretation Division, and Jung Sung-hee as a legal advisor in the Economic Legislation Interpretation Division 2.

At the Bank of Korea, significant leadership changes are underway. Choi Yong-hoon has been appointed as the head of the Planning and Cooperation Department, and Choi Young-joo will lead the Financial Markets Department. Several other departments, including the Note Issue Department and the Sustainability Growth Office, have new directors. Additionally, numerous promotions and reassignments have occurred across various ranks, from Grade 1 to Grade 5, affecting numerous departments and regional branches.
