Spain erupted in jubilant celebration as the national football team concluded its 2026 World Cup victory tour with a historic fiesta at Madrid's iconic Plaza de Cibeles. Following a triumphant parade through the capital on an open-top bus, surrounded by an estimated two million ecstatic fans, the team capped off the festivities with a grand rally.

The atmosphere was electric as players, including the coach Luis de la Fuente, took to a stage at Cibeles. Midfielder Rodri Hernández, holding the World Cup trophy aloft, led the crowd in the traditional "Campeones, campeones" chant. During his address, Hernández took a poignant moment to honor María Caamaño, a recent loss to the football community, asking for a moment of applause for her.

The day's celebrations began hours earlier with the team's procession through Madrid's streets. Players showcased the World Cup trophy, sharing the festive mood with the throngs of supporters.
