Spain Guarantees Schengen Integrity, Confirms Return of Irregular Migrants to Morocco

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares has asserted that the Schengen area's integrity remains intact, emphasizing that no irregular migrants have reached the Iberian Peninsula. He stated unequivocally that Spain will repatriate all individuals who have entered the country irregularly, aligning with Morocco's explicit agreement.

"Until the last person who has entered Spain irregularly returns to Morocco, because that is the express will of Rabat," Albares declared, underscoring the bilateral commitment to managing migration flows. This statement reinforces Spain's position on border control and its cooperation with North African partners.
