Special Award Recognizes Resilience at Vietnam Workers' Football Championship

The Northern qualifying round of the Vietnam Workers' Football Championship 2026 has concluded, with the Vietnam Bank Trade Union team emerging as champions. The event, aimed at promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie among workers, saw enthusiastic participation from various trade union teams across the region.

A notable addition to this year's tournament was the introduction of the "Overcoming Hardship" award. This special accolade was presented to Lò Văn Tâm, a player from the Điện Biên Trade Union team, recognizing his personal journey of resilience and determination. The award, valued at 6,990,000 Vietnamese dong, was not based on professional statistics but on Tâm's inspiring story of overcoming adversity.
