This achievement places "Spider-Man 4" on track to potentially break the franchise's domestic attendance record. The current highest-grossing film in the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man series in South Korea is "Spider-Man: Far From Home," which attracted 8.02 million viewers in 2019.

Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan's historical drama "Oppenheimer," released on January 5th, has also garnered substantial attention, surpassing 4 million viewers. As of January 16th, it had recorded 4.29 million viewers. The film boasts a high audience satisfaction rating, with a CGV Egg Index score of 98%, reflecting its critical acclaim and audience reception. Its unique status as the first film shot entirely in IMAX format further contributes to its appeal.
