Stevie Face teams up with Help Jamaica Medical Mission for third St Thomas Health Fair

Stevie Face is bringing doctors, nurses and a full day of free services back to St Thomas, where the reggae singer, businessman and philanthropist launched the health fair in 2024.

The third annual event will take place at Yallahs Primary School on Saturday, September 5, starting at 8 a.m. Help Jamaica Medical Mission will lead the initiative, with support from the Ministry of Health and Wellness, JACAN Food Distributors Ltd and Advanced Service Station.

Dr Robert Clarke will lead the mission team, joined by healthcare professionals taking part in the organization’s 2026 medical mission to Jamaica. Veteran anesthesiologist Dr Brian James, a former president of the Medical Association of Jamaica, will also attend with a team of doctors based in Jamaica.

Residents will be able to receive blood-pressure and diabetes checks, eye examinations, free eyeglasses, HIV and STI screening, back-to-school medicals, health screenings, medical advice and free medications. Nearly 2,000 people benefited from the first health fair, and the event drew another strong turnout in 2025.

“For me, this health fair is about making sure that people in St Thomas have access to quality healthcare regardless of their financial circumstances. This is my home, these are my people, and once I am in a position to help, I will continue to do so,” Face said. The event will also include free food and refreshments, along with bounce houses, face painting and clowns for children.
