Goldring's defense lawyers, Marcelo Domínguez and Gonzalo Fernández, submitted documentation detailing the 76-year-old's health status. According to Domínguez, Goldring was hospitalized after a surgical wound on her leg opened, preventing her appearance. This is the latest in a series of postponements for the accusation control stage, which has been repeatedly delayed due to Goldring's recurring health problems.

The judge, Diovanet Olivera, explained that the defendant's appearance is mandatory in criminal proceedings and was justified in this instance by the medical certificate. Others exchanged remarks, with sentiments ranging from "Hopefully, we'll have luck next time" to "This is a mockery."

Prosecutor Enrique Rodríguez, leading the Asset Laundering Prosecutor's Office, has accused Goldring of a continued offense of improper appropriation and is seeking a four-year prison sentence, the maximum penalty for the crime. The prosecution alleges that Goldring not only lost client funds due to poor market performance, as her defense claims, but also concealed relevant information and used investor assets to cover her own operational losses. Her defense vehemently denies this, attributing the losses to risky investments and market downturns, and noting that some clients had aggressive investment profiles and understood the risks.
