Stolen fence reappears in garden, leading to investigation of two men

Authorities in Bad Langensalza are investigating two men in connection with the theft of a 25-meter steel fence and its accompanying posts. The property vanished from the Schwefelbad area over the last two weeks, as reported by a city administration employee.

Upon arriving there, they were not a little amazed when they noticed a garden fence being erected.

During an unrelated call, police were dispatched to a garden area where they were surprised to find a fence being assembled. The structure precisely matched the description of the stolen fence. The garden's owner stated he had acquired the fence from an acquaintance.

The garden owner explained that he had received the fence from an acquaintance.

Further investigation revealed that the fence was indeed the stolen property from Schwefelbad. The acquaintance, who allegedly provided the fence, was also found to be in possession of a quad bike lacking proof of ownership. Police suspect this vehicle was used to transport the stolen fence.

It turned out that it was indeed the stolen fence from Schwefelbad.

Both men involved are known to the police for previous offenses. The fence, posts, and the quad bike have been confiscated as evidence. Investigations are ongoing into multiple charges against the two individuals.
