Stray Bullet Injures 74-Year-Old at Renowned Nautical Club in Núñez

A 74-year-old man sustained an injury from a stray bullet at the Núñez headquarters of the Centro Naval on Saturday, causing concern within the institution. The incident occurred as the victim, a guest of a member, was near a sailboat preparing to embark.

According to City Police, the man felt a strong impact on his left arm. His companion noticed the deep wound and found a lead projectile on the ground. The victim was taken to Sanatorio Otamendi, where he underwent surgery for an open fracture of the left forearm. His condition is not life-threatening.

Club personnel reported the incident to the police and handed over the projectile. The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office No. 44 is investigating the circumstances. The prosecutor has requested ballistic analysis to determine the origin of the shot and has ordered a review of security cameras in the area. Investigators are considering the possibility that the bullet came from the Tiro Federal Argentino facilities located next door.
