Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is pushing for the reinforcement of key public institutions, emphasizing the need to protect and restore bodies such as Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan (Felda), and Lembaga Penyatuan dan Pemulihan Tanah Persekutuan (Felcra). A central tenet of this push is ensuring these institutions operate with integrity, transparency, and efficiency.

Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil, a member of PKR's Central Leadership Council (MPP), stressed that institutions established to safeguard public interests must not become avenues for leakage, mismanagement, or abuse. He asserted that efforts to strengthen these bodies must be coupled with an uncompromising stance against corruption, wastage, and inefficiency. "Every ringgit saved from corruption, leakage, and waste is a ringgit that can be returned to the people through education, health, transportation, housing, and social protection," Fahmi stated during the PKR Annual National Congress.

Furthermore, Fahmi highlighted PKR's commitment to championing a living wage agenda. This involves ensuring workers receive income commensurate with the cost of living and their needs. The party advocates for periodic reviews of the minimum wage, taking into account productivity, living costs, business conditions, and worker requirements.
