Strengthening Collaboration, Bank bjb and YKEP Expand Access to Banking Products

Bank bjb and the Kartika Eka Paksi Foundation have renewed a banking partnership that now reaches across financing, payroll, education, health and digital transactions.

The updated memorandum of understanding was signed at bjb T Tower in Jakarta on Aug. 27, 2026. It continues cooperation that began in 2023 and is intended to preserve the relationship while creating room for broader collaboration between the two institutions.

The partnership includes an investment credit facility for the YKEP Group ecosystem and payroll services for employees. Individuals connected to the ecosystem can access Kredit Guna Bhakti financing and home loans. Cooperation also covers the Financial Institution Pension Fund program, as well as the collection and placement of funds.

YKEP is a nonprofit foundation established on Aug. 10, 1972, to improve the welfare of the extended Army family and the wider public. Its activities include social services, education and health. Bank bjb Corporate Secretary Irwan Riswandi said the relationship had developed from an institutional tie into cooperation covering various financial needs within the YKEP ecosystem.

In education, bank bjb supports tuition payments for students at Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani and Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta through virtual accounts. The bank also provides digital banking services, while hospital information system services have been implemented at the UNJANI Dental and Oral Hospital.
