Student Thanks Charity Group for Lifelong Support with Flowers Before Graduation

A young woman in Taiwan, accompanied by her mother, presented flowers to members of the Changhua Yuanmeng Charity Group to express her deep gratitude for their four years of financial assistance. This support allowed her to complete her university education.

Jia Zhen, a student from Yunlin Home for the Friendless, became emotional as she thanked the charity group for their monthly subsidy of 5,000 New Taiwan Dollars. Her mother, who is from Vietnam, works odd jobs to support the family, which also includes Jia Zhen's younger brother. The subsidy has significantly eased the family's financial burden, enabling Jia Zhen to focus on her studies.

The Changhua Yuanmeng Charity Group, composed of individuals from various professions, has consistently supported the educational needs of children from Home for the Friendless for five years. Their contributions include funding for child welfare, scholarships, and talent classes, as well as providing 5,000 NTD monthly for six coastal university students. Their support has grown from 400,000 NTD in the first year to 620,000 NTD this year.

Jia Zhen thoughtfully chose sunflowers, symbolizing sunshine, hope, happiness, and courage, and carnations, representing warmth, love, gratitude, and care, to present to the charity members. She conveyed that they, like sunflowers and carnations, have brought immense warmth and hope to her family.
