Students announce detailed plan for Vidovdan protest march to Kraljevo

Students protesting at the University of Kragujevac have unveiled a detailed itinerary for a 60-kilometer walk to Kraljevo, culminating in the Vidovdan protest scheduled for June 28. The march, set to commence on June 27, is designed to bring together students and supportive citizens for a journey lasting over 24 hours.

The detailed plan, shared on social media, outlines a two-day trek. On the first day, participants will cover approximately 33 kilometers, starting from Kragujevac at 12:10 PM and reaching Bresnica by 9:10 PM, with scheduled breaks in Korićani, Dragobraća, Vučkovica, and Knić. Overnight stays are planned in Bresnica, with arrangements to be confirmed based on participant numbers.

The second day, June 28, will cover the remaining 26.8 kilometers. The group will depart from Bresnica at 9:00 AM, making stops in Mrčajevci, Tavnik, Lađevci, and Adrane before arriving in Kraljevo around 4:30 PM. The students have provided a sign-up link for those wishing to participate in this significant walk.

Reflecting on past experiences, the students described the walk as a way to "connect cities, people, and ideas," fostering friendships and creating memorable moments. They invite others to join this "story that will be remembered for a long time" as they march towards Kraljevo for the Vidovdan gathering.
