Students Call on Citizens to Help by Becoming Election Monitors

Students engaged in protests in Serbia have issued a heartfelt appeal to citizens, asking for their active participation in bringing about change. On International Youth Day, they encouraged people to join them as election monitors, participate in local student assemblies, or simply engage in conversations within their communities.

The students drew a parallel between watching shooting stars and their own aspirations. "We know our wish for a long time. But we also know that some wishes do not come true on their own. For them, it is not enough to look at the sky and wait," they stated on Instagram, referencing the anticipated meteor shower.

On this day dedicated to youth, the students expressed their desire to never stop believing in the possibility of a different future and to continue fighting for change, regardless of the challenges. They hope that seeing a shooting star will inspire others to join their cause, standing shoulder-to-shoulder as supporters and essential allies.
