Students with financial problems should contact IPTA

Students in Malaysia who have secured admission to public higher education institutions (IPTA) but are struggling with financial issues are being encouraged to reach out for support. The Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) and the respective IPTAs are available resources for students facing such challenges.

Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abd. Kadir, the Minister of Higher Education, emphasized that students should not let financial constraints prevent them from registering and continuing their studies. He advised those who have received offer letters to connect directly with their chosen IPTA or the ministry for assistance.

"The important thing is that you register and continue your studies," Dr. Zambry stated in a Facebook post, highlighting the ministry's commitment to ensuring students can access higher education. The message aims to alleviate concerns and provide a clear pathway for students navigating financial hurdles during the critical enrollment period.

This directive underscores the government's effort to support students and maintain enrollment rates in higher education. By providing accessible channels for financial aid inquiries, the ministry seeks to ensure that financial difficulties do not become an insurmountable barrier for aspiring students in Malaysia.
