Sukamara Expo 2026 to Showcase Regional Potential and Boost MSME Economy

The Sukamara Expo 2026 has officially opened, serving as a platform to display the region's potential and stimulate economic growth driven by local unggulan products. The annual event, held at Taman Permata Sukma Sukamara and running until July 4, 2026, is a key part of the Sukamara Regency's 24th-anniversary celebrations.

Under the theme "Creative synergy, promoting local unggulan products, building a resilient economy with Sukamara MSMEs," the expo aims to encourage collaboration among all community elements to strengthen the regional economy. Sukamara Regent Masduki emphasized that the expo is a vital venue for introducing regional development programs and promoting the unique potential of Sukamara Regency to the public and the business world.

Masduki highlighted the expo as a crucial moment for revitalizing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and local unggulan products, fostering their independence and growth. "With the theme adopted this year, we hope to realize a more superior and developed Sukamara with new energy," he stated.

Sukamara Expo is an annual agenda that serves as a forum for introducing regional development programs, as well as promoting the various unggulan potentials of Sukamara Regency to the public and the business world.

This year's expo features 27 booths occupied by regional government organizations (OPDs), vertical agencies, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), private companies, and various organizations within Sukamara Regency. Additionally, approximately 200 MSME stalls are showcasing a diverse range of local products, including crafts, textiles, and culinary items. The significant presence of MSMEs underscores the expo's role not just as an exhibition but as a catalyst for local economic revival.

The event comprehensively presents Sukamara's potential across various sectors, including agriculture, fisheries, the creative industry, and distinctive local crafts. The expo is designed to be a comprehensive showcase, driving economic development through the promotion and enhancement of these local assets.
