Michal Leman, FlixBus's vice president for Eastern Europe, noted that bus travel offers significantly lower CO2 emissions per passenger than air travel. He also pointed out the convenience of reaching destinations like Riga without the time spent on airport security checks or arranging transport to the city center. Frequent departures also allow for easy planning of weekend getaways.
