Summer Heat Wave to Hit Lower Saxony and Bremen with Temperatures Up to 31°C

Residents of Lower Saxony and Bremen can anticipate a summery weekend with significantly high temperatures. The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts that a persistent high-pressure system will bring warm conditions, expected to last into the next week.

Saturday is forecast to be predominantly warm and dry across the region. While coastal areas on the islands might experience cooler temperatures peaking around 22 degrees Celsius, inland areas are set to reach as high as 31 degrees. A light breeze is expected to offer some relief from the heat.

The night leading into Sunday is predicted to remain largely clear. However, Sunday itself may bring a change, with the DWD forecasting partly cloudy to densely cloudy skies. This could lead to isolated rain showers in the southern parts of the region during the afternoon.

Despite potential showers, inland temperatures are expected to remain high, with forecasts again indicating up to 31 degrees Celsius. Those on the islands, however, may find it slightly cooler than on Saturday, with maximum temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius.
