Sun Pharma, a major global pharmaceutical company, has initiated a recall of 10 of its eye drop products in India following concerns over contamination. The company's distributors received a confidential letter on July 17 instructing them to immediately stop selling existing batches of these products and return any stock.

The recalled eye drops include Depopred 2ML, Brinolar (BKC Free), Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ML BKC Free, Lotepred 5ML, Lotepred 1% Eye Drops 5ML, Lotepred LS 0.2% E/D 5ML, Lotepred T, Nepalact OD Eye Drops 3ML, Nepalact-ZT, and Nepalact E/D 5ML.
