Süper Lig season kicks off August 14 with packed opening weekend

Football fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the 2026-2027 Trendyol Süper Lig season, with the first-week match schedule now a major topic of discussion. As teams wrap up their summer training camps and transfer activities, the opening fixtures promise significant excitement.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has outlined the season's main schedule. The season is set to kick off on August 14, 15, 16, and 17, 2026. The first half of the league will conclude between December 18 and 21, 2026. Following a winter break, the second half will commence in mid-January 2027, with matches scheduled for the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th. The season is slated to wrap up on May 23, 2027.

The opening week's schedule features several high-profile matchups. Galatasaray A.Ş. will host Çorum FK on August 14. The following day, August 15, will see Kasımpaşa A.Ş. play Trabzonspor A.Ş. and Konyaspor face Çaykur Rizespor A.Ş., both kicking off at 7:00 PM. Later that evening, Gaziantep Futbol Kulübü A.Ş. will play Corendon Alanyaspor, and Gençlerbirliği will host Fenerbahçe A.Ş., both starting at 9:30 PM.

August 16 will feature İstanbul Başakşehir FK against Kocaelispor and Amed Sportif Faaliyetler versus Erzurumspor FK, both at 9:30 PM. Beşiktaş A.Ş. will play Eyüpspor at 9:30 PM on the same day. The opening week concludes on August 17 with Samsunspor A.Ş. facing Göztepe A.Ş. at 9:30 PM.
