Suspect Febrie Adriansyah to Cooperate with Attorney General's Office Examination

Febrie Adriansyah, a former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, is set to undergo examination today by the Attorney General's Office as part of a money laundering investigation. His lawyer confirmed that Adriansyah will cooperate with the Tim 9 team from the Attorney General's Office.

Adriansyah is suspected of money laundering in connection with the discovery of 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 billion in cash at his residence in Sentul, West Java. The Attorney General's Office has expanded the investigation, naming two additional suspects: a private individual identified as NH and lawyer DR, who are alleged to have participated in the case.

According to Rudi Margono, head of Tim 9 and Junior Attorney General for Supervision, the alleged money laundering activities occurred while Adriansyah served as a prosecutor and structural official within the Attorney General's Office. Adriansyah has also filed a pretrial motion challenging the legality of his suspect status and the search and seizure procedures conducted by both the Attorney General's Office and the National Police's Corruption Eradication Task Force. The first pretrial hearing is scheduled for August 18 and 19, 2026.
