Suspicious Behavior Leads Police to Discover Weapons on Man Posing as Soldier

Federal police in Wanne-Eickel, Germany, apprehended an 18-year-old man exhibiting suspicious behavior, leading to the discovery of multiple weapons. The young man initially caught the officers' attention by quickly leaving the platform as they approached. He was wearing a Bundeswehr uniform, complete with insignia.

When questioned by the police, the man eventually confessed that he was not actually serving in the military. Following this admission, officers conducted a search of the individual.

The search yielded a gas-powered pistol with ammunition, a blank-firing weapon, and a knife. The police confiscated all the discovered weapons along with the military insignia the man was wearing.

The 18-year-old is now facing a criminal investigation for violations of the weapons act, as well as for the unlawful use of military badges and uniforms, according to the Federal Police statement.
