Suva looks to improve against Kadavu

Suva expects Kadavu to provide a physical test in Round Six of the Skipper Cup. Kadavu has impressed through the opening five rounds and sits eighth on the competition ladder, while Suva is using the early matches to identify weaknesses.

Manager Ulaiasi Butukoro says defence needs particular attention after Suva conceded too many points. Communication and execution have also been inconsistent, and the team has placed renewed emphasis on both areas.

Suva has rotated several players during the first five rounds. Butukoro says that experience has helped the team assess its depth as it prepares another strong lineup for the match at Suva Grammar School grounds.

The remaining fixtures are Lautoka against Malolo at Churchill Park, Nadi against Navosa Rugby at Prince Charles Park, Nadroga against Ba at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, Naitasiri against Taveuni at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, and Tailevu against Rewa at Nakelo School grounds.
