Suzuki launches blacked-out Vitara and S-Cross Kuro editions

Suzuki is enhancing the appeal of its Vitara and S-Cross SUVs with the introduction of special "Kuro" editions in the UK market. These new variants are designed to offer a more aggressive and stylish aesthetic, building upon the existing Ultra Allgrip models.

The "Kuro" designation, meaning black in Japanese, is reflected across the exterior of both the Vitara and S-Cross. Key features include blacked-out alloy wheels, roof rails, rear spoilers, door handles, mirror caps, and rear bumper/tailgate trim. The S-Cross Kuro also gains standard front LED fog lights, further distinguishing it from the regular models.

Inside, the Kuro editions continue the dark theme with piano black finishes applied to the center console, dashboard, and door panels. Accents of orange stitching are incorporated into the door trims and other interior elements, adding a sporty contrast to the predominantly black cabin. These styling updates aim to create a more premium and dynamic atmosphere for occupants.

Under the hood, the Vitara Kuro and S-Cross Kuro retain the same powertrain as their standard counterparts. They are equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine paired with a mild-hybrid system, producing 110.02 horsepower and 24 kg-m of torque. The vehicles come standard with Suzuki's Allgrip four-wheel-drive system and are available with either manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions. Pricing for the Vitara Kuro starts at £26,199 (approximately NT$1.14 million).
