Suzuki's 5-door Jimny gets a retro makeover with pink accents

Japanese tuning brand Beyond Japan has introduced its latest creation, the Jimny CODE36, transforming the five-door Jimny Nomade into a head-turning retro-styled vehicle. This new build masterfully blends Japanese and American design influences, complemented by a unique pink color scheme and custom interior touches, making the Nomade variant even more appealing.

The Jimny CODE36 is based on the five-door Jimny, distinguished by the addition of the "Nomade" sub-name. A key feature is the front end, which sports a US-style chrome grille. Both the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned with a minimalist approach, incorporating stainless steel skid plates and protective bars. These components are crafted from stainless steel and finished with a mirror-polish treatment, adding a striking visual element.

Further enhancing its retro charm, the sides of the vehicle are adorned with a wood-grain decal, finished in a vibrant pink hue. This is paired with 16-inch "Super Moon" chrome wheels with a concave design, contributing to the overall eye-catching appearance. The interior complements the exterior's theme with pink leatherette seat covers.

Under the hood, the Jimny CODE36 remains unchanged, utilizing the same 1.5-liter K18B four-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine found in the three-door version. This engine produces 102 horsepower and 13.3 kg-m of torque, paired with either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also features a newly designed ladder frame structure for enhanced body rigidity, along with a three-link rigid axle suspension, the AllGrip Pro 4WD system, and a transfer case, ensuring it retains the same excellent off-road prowess as the three-door model.
