Synopsys Technology Tops Taiwan Firms with NT$5.6 Million Average Salary for Non-Managers

Taiwan's GreTai Securities Market (GTSM) has released its 2025 salary data for full-time employees who are not in management positions. The figures highlight a striking disparity in compensation across listed companies, with Synopsys Technology (5274) leading the pack.

Synopsys Technology reported an average annual salary of NT$5.617 million for its non-managerial staff, marking a substantial 19.13% increase from the previous year. This figure is significantly higher than the second-highest earner, G-Shaft (3293), which reported an average of NT$3.877 million. Notably, Synopsys is the only company among all listed firms in Taiwan to surpass the NT$5 million average salary threshold for its employees.

The GTSM's statistics also revealed the lower end of the salary spectrum. Jin Yun International (4950) recorded the lowest average employee salary at NT$388,000, a 6.28% decrease from the prior year. It was one of only two companies with average salaries below NT$400,000.

Among the top 10 companies with the highest average employee salaries, seven are in the semiconductor industry. However, none of these top firms disclosed the salary differences between male and female employees.
