Sze Fei-Izzuddin Crowned Indonesia Open Champions

Malaysian professional men's doubles pair Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Mohd Rumsani have clinched the 2026 Indonesia Open title in Jakarta. The world's No. 8 ranked duo triumphed over Indonesia's Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin, ranked 12th globally, with a score of 13-21, 21-18, 21-10 in a 49-minute final.

This significant win marks the second Super 1,000 championship for Sze Fei and Izzuddin, following their victory at the China Open two years prior. Their success also breaks an 18-year streak for Malaysian men's doubles pairs winning the Indonesia Open, with the last triumph by Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif and Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari in 2008.

As champions, Sze Fei and Izzuddin received a prize of $107,300 USD (approximately RM432,365), a trophy, and gold medals. Izzuddin expressed that the victory was deeply meaningful for both him and Sze Fei, stating, "It wasn't easy to win here; we both gave our best to win."

Sze Fei added that they faced not only their opponents but also the entire venue, Istora Senayan. "It's not easy to beat an entire Istora Senayan. Thank you for your support," he said, acknowledging the home crowd's energy.
