Sziget Festival Organizers Address Energy Crisis Concerns, Emphasize Sustainability

Amidst uncertainties surrounding Hungary's energy supply, organizers of the Sziget Festival have reassured the public about the event's operational resilience and commitment to sustainability.

For a large international event like this, a fundamental safety requirement is that the festival can continue without interruption in the event of a power outage. Accordingly, Sziget has had a backup power supply system for years that can replace the festival's electricity supply with electricity generated by generators.

Addressing concerns about the potential impact of the energy crisis, Sziget's organizers confirmed that the festival is equipped with a backup power system. This system, utilizing generators, is designed to ensure the event can continue uninterrupted even in the event of a power outage.
