Tabilo starts Cincinnati Masters with solid win over Struff

Chilean tennis player Alejandro Tabilo has advanced to the third round of the Cincinnati Masters 1000 after a decisive victory over Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff. Tabilo, currently ranked 26th in the ATP rankings, secured a 6-3, 6-4 win on court number 8.

The match, which lasted 1 hour and 19 minutes, saw Tabilo demonstrate consistent play from the outset. He broke Struff's serve in the sixth game to take the lead in the first set, which he closed out efficiently in under 40 minutes. The second set was more closely contested, but Tabilo again proved superior, breaking the German player's serve in the seventh game.

Tabilo, the highest-ranked Chilean player, only needed to maintain his serve to secure his spot in the round of 32. He will now face the winner of the upcoming match between Spain's Rafael Jódar and Canada's Denis Shapovalov, who was a former world number ten.
