Taichung candidate hosts bubble party, vows to make raising children affordable

A vibrant bubble party in Taichung brought together nearly 300 parents and children, offering a moment of shared joy and a platform for political discussion. Hosted by city council candidate Chen Hsin-hsiu and former councilor Tsai Ya-ling at the Fuyu Qingzhan community, the event transformed the space into a whimsical world of floating bubbles.

Beyond the playful atmosphere, the gathering served a more serious purpose. Chen Hsin-hsiu used the occasion to voice her commitment to making it easier for young families to raise children. She specifically referenced President Lai Ching-te's proposed policy to provide monthly financial assistance for children aged 0 to 18, starting next year.

This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burdens faced by many families in Taiwan. By addressing the rising costs of education, healthcare, and daily living, the policy seeks to encourage younger generations to have children and support them adequately.
