Taichung is catching World Cup fever by setting up a large football-themed interactive photo zone at the MRT City Hall Station. The area, featuring a physical goal and green turf, aims to create a World Cup atmosphere for visitors to take photos. This installation will be available until the end of the tournament.

The city's Sports Bureau announced further plans, including a "2026 Global Football Peak Showdown Live Party." This event will broadcast the semi-final and final matches on July 15, 16, and 20, at the Fisherman's Wharf Starlight Market. The broadcasts will be shown on a large high-definition screen and will be accompanied by food stalls and prize draws, allowing residents to experience the excitement of the global football event together.
