Taichung Mayoral Candidates to Establish Campaign Headquarters by Late July/Early August

With less than six months remaining until the year-end elections, voters in Taichung are eager for the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and Kuomintang (KMT) mayoral candidates to establish their campaign headquarters. DPP candidate Ho Hsin-chun indicated that her campaign headquarters are under negotiation, with a decision expected by late July or early August, following the national party congress.

Ho's campaign has already set up a municipal affairs office in Nantun, which serves as a base for her campaign team. This office has been active in organizing events such as policy forums and family activities. Meanwhile, KMT candidate Chiang Chi-chen's team is currently operating from his existing service office. Official announcements regarding policy statements are coordinated through this office.

Chiang's campaign headquarters are also in the process of being secured, with his service office stating that a location is expected to be confirmed after late July. Both candidates are actively searching for appropriate venues to house their main campaign operations, anticipating the influx of enthusiastic supporters who wish to contribute to their campaigns.
